So, tired of this Applied Math course taking so long to finish, I’ve decided to spice things a bit. I decided to take 7 subjects this semester. The maximum I’ve taken before was 5 (I wasn’t yet working and failed at 3 I think u_u). But this craziness has a reason…

I love reading blogs about productivity and self-development because they inspire me a lot. And people always says to keep focus, single-task and so on.

I also learned to ignore the fails os subjects. In the beginning it annoyed me and depressed me when I failed any subject. Today I try to focus on the present. I have no idea if I’ll pursue the academic life, so *now* it doesn’t matter if I fail a lot of matters, only that I learn from them and pass them as soon as possible.

This is the reason I’ve decided to engage in this “suicide experiment” how I call it, lol. I also will try to apply a lot of productivity techniques (like keeping focus, keeping things organized) in order to accomplish the goal to pass as many subjects that I can.

I believe it will allow me to grow a lot in maturity with this experiment. One thing that inspired me to try this was my performance on my Japanese study at the vacation. I finally finished studying Remembering the Kanji, by James Heisig. I’ve learned to write approximately 1000 kanjis in a month and my recall-rate is still in the interval 80%~90%. I’ll try to apply the same memory techniques to my college studies as a personal experiment. And I intend to publish my results here. Wish me luck!
